We were rather apprehensive after reading previous opinions but our doubts were not realised. We had been staying at another property for several days and asked if we could stay for a couple more. This took us into 2 days of the Labour Day weekend and we were told we had to stay for 3 days and the price almost doubled. We could stay at this property for 2 days and the price was reasonable for Rotorua. We were warmly and efficiently welcomed. There is a shopping mall, which includes a major supermarket, a few minutes walk away. The unit we had was small but we not only knew this because of the booking.com information but the property emailed us in advance to make sure we were aware of this. The place was quiet. We wouldn't stay here for a week because of the size but for a couple of nights it was fine.

The rooms were really clean which was a nice surprise as most other places stayed in Rotorua have been substandard in terms of hygiene. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Also lots of blankets on the beds which was good as usually get really cold in motels with only one sheet and cover.

Staff were awesome lil language barrier .. Room was small as..Partying was going on in the next room with junkies walking around with Cans off alcohol wasnt impressed...Room was small ..breakfast was good..

We spent 3 nights here: Standard motel accommodation in the town centre, 2-minute walk from a huge supermarket (Coundown, open till 10 p.m.); a place meeting your expectation if you do not expect too much which we did not; everything working, fast internet, clean room, friendly and helpful receptionist.

Room was nice and clean. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Although the motel was old, it was good value for money and walking distance to the shops. Breakfast of cereal, fruit, toast and coffee/tea was included.
